DC State Fair @ Carnegie

The DC State Fair is coming to Mount Vernon Square and Anthem Row! Visit us on Sunday, September 6 to be part of the action, 11 AM – 6 PM.

The 17th annual DC State Fair includes contests, local vendors, and a celebration of the District’s agricultural, culinary, and artistic talents. Other DC State Fair attractions include: a main stage with entertainment, food, local small businesses, community exhibitors, food trucks, a wellness zone, craft corner, and a kids’ zone.

Here are all the ways you can find DC History Center + HumanitiesDC during DC State Fair!

• Play recess games on the west lawn of the Carnegie Library.
• Craft with us and visit other community exhibitors.
• Take a break from the heat, and come inside to see Class Action, craft, and play recess games.
• Explore hometown DC  as it makes its first appearance Downtown! Learn about DC Wards 2 and 8 through this immersive installation.
• 12:10 – 12:35 pm: Show your DC knowledge during our trivia session on the Education Stage.
• 1:00 – 4:00 pm: Jump with DC Retro Jumpers.
