Join this virtual In the Works program to learn more about applying to the Totman Fellowship. The DC History Center offers a limited number of funded, short-term fellowships to support research on the history of Washington, DC. Applications are currently open for two Totman Fellowships: one on Black Washington and the other on LGBTQ+ DC. We’ll answer questions about eligibility and the application process. We’ll also provide insight into outlets to research, write, and present your research, for example: publishing in Washington History magazine and presenting at the annual DC History ConferenceThis event is FREE.
