Join the DC History Center for a free guided tour of the Class Action MVT Photo Walk on Saturday, July 18, from 11 am–12:30 pm.
Meet at 450K Apartments (450 K Street NW) and explore the outdoor exhibit along K Street NW and Prather’s Alley with DC History Center Deputy Director Anne McDonough. Discover how the exhibit traces the history of federal education policy through the experiences of DC public school students, with additional stories and historical context along the way.
The tour also features community historian Marion Woodfork Simmons, who will share her personal experiences growing up in DC and her connection to the exhibit. After the tour, attendees are invited to stay for conversation, with an optional visit to the full Class Action exhibit at the Carnegie Library at 1 pm.
Free and open to the public.
