Host your event

The DC History Center, centrally located in Downtown DC, offers a variety of unique spaces for meetings, tours, educational events, luncheons, and other special occasions. It is conveniently located across the street from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and within walking distance of all Metro lines.

The DC History Center’s spaces can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 150 people.

As a nonprofit organization, it is important to us that we are not just a venue. Events held in our spaces are an expression of our mission—designed to impart a deeper understanding of DC’s history. We make our space available to partners and allied organizations and reserve the right to decline events which are outside these parameters. To learn more about hosting an event at the DC History Center, see our Events Menu.
